Description

Rosco Supergel R74 Night Blue lighting filter is a professional colour correction gel designed to create deep, atmospheric blue lighting effects for stage, film and photography environments. Producing rich “fantasy moonlight” blue, this highly saturated filter allows only around 4% light transmission, making it ideal for dramatic backlighting, side lighting and night-scene effects. As part of the widely used Supergel range, it delivers consistent colour performance and helps lighting designers shape mood and contrast with precision.

Manufactured using Rosco’s body-coloured extruded polycarbonate process, the Supergel range is engineered for durability and colour stability under high-temperature lighting fixtures. The material offers excellent heat resistance and flame-retardant properties, with softening temperatures around 160°C and melting at approximately 220°C, making it suitable for demanding theatrical, film, and broadcast lighting environments.
