Description

Neoprene sponge is a soft, flexible, and durable synthetic rubber material known for its excellent insulation, water resistance, and cushioning properties.

Neoprene sponge is a versatile sealing and cushioning material designed for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Manufactured from closed-cell neoprene rubber, this material offers excellent flexibility, durability and resistance to water ingress, making it ideal for creating reliable seals and gaskets. With a density of 140 – 190kg/m3 and a soft compression range, it provides consistent performance while easily conforming to uneven surfaces. The addition of a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows for quick and secure installation without the need for additional fixing methods.

Engineered for performance in varying environments, this neoprene sponge operates effectively across a temperature range of –40C to +75C (constant) and up to +90C intermittently, while maintaining low water absorption of just 1-2%. Its good compression set characteristics and tensile strength ensure long-lasting sealing and cushioning performance. Environmentally friendly, CFC/HCFC-free composition further enhance its suitability for demanding applications.
