Description

3M™ Thermally Conductive Interface Tape 8926 is a pressure-sensitive tape designed to have good converting ability, handing and re-workability through the introduction of a thin PET carrier. 3M thermal tape series 8926 is designed with a soft acrylic polymer and multiple thickness options to allow excellent wet-out or conformability to many surfaces.

3M™ Thermally Conductive Interface Tape 8926 has good adhesion performance to many substrate types and has excellent dielectric performance.

Benefits

  • Easy handling and soft pad
  • Slight tack allows pre-assembly
  • Excellent durability
  • Highly thermally conductive while electrically insulating
  • Incorporates a thin, firm acrylic layer for good handling

Features

  • High Performing Thermal Pads
  • High conformability even for non-flat IC surfaces and automotive EV batteries
  • Good wettability for better thermal conductivity
  • Non-silicone acrylic elastomer
  • UL94 V-0 listed (File No. E176845)

Recommended Uses

  • Heat transfer in consumer electronics and automotive electronic products. Decrease of compression stress to electronic parts by thermal pad conformability
