Thermal Grease Replacements are film or foil which is obviously a uniform thickness used to replace messy thermal grease in production. The uniformity means that each assembly has the correct amount of thermal interface to optimise the heat transfer and to remove the unwanted micro-air voids between hot devices and heat sinks.
